Kyneton Pastoria Road Race
I tagged along with my friend who was corner marshalling at the Kyneton Pastoria Road Race, the first race on the 2013 Northern Combine road series calendar. The race was completed on a 20km circuit of rolling hills, in picturesque countryside near Kyneton, Victoria. The two pictured at the top made and early break and were minutes ahead of the main bunch for most of the race. They ended up tying for 1st place.
Ironman Melbourne
A couple of shots from the Melbourne Ironman triathlon. It was an extremely long day of repetitive shooting (the last competitor took 16 hours, I was there for 18) made me feel like I’d competed in it rather than photographed it, and a couple of TT bars to the face in the transition area made my head pound for a quite a while, but I woud totally do it all again. Epic day!
Famous for Fashion
A few shots from the Famous for Fashion runway show and afterparty. I was shooting this for Chapel Street Precinct as part of the Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival
Proving I was there
I don’t do tourist shots, I don’t have a problem with other people taking them, I just have zero interest in posing in front of monuments. But just in case you think that I’ve been sitting at home in Melbourne for the last five months uploading photos I found on the internet, here are some photos of my feet…standing on things in Europe.
Florence
A beautiful city, amazing architecture, great food and coffee and cute vintage bicycles everywhere. See more photos at flickr.com
A day in the mountains
I did a day trip up into the mountains of Montenegro to go rafting. Montenegro is a tiny country, you can get around the whole thing in a day if you want to, but with the amount of beautiful scenery it packs into such a small space, you could easily spend weeks there and not see it all.
